The Addams Family – A New Musical is a comedy that follows the adventures of the eccentric Addams family as they face a challenge they have never encountered before.
Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a normal boy named Lucas Beineke, and she wants her parents to meet his family. However, she fears that her dark and macabre family will scare them away, so she asks her father to keep her secret from her mother.
Gomez agrees, but he struggles to lie to his beloved wife Morticia. Meanwhile, Pugsley, the younger brother of Wednesday, is jealous of her new relationship and plots to sabotage it with the help of his grandmother’s magic potion. Uncle Fester, the eccentric uncle of the Addams children, enlists the help of the dead ancestors of the family to make sure that everything goes well.
On the night of the dinner, chaos ensues as the two families clash over their different values and lifestyles. Secrets are revealed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they have managed to avoid for generations…Change.
