International Day of People with Disability

Lithgow will celebrate International Day of People with Disability this year with an afternoon of events and activities at Lithgow Library from 1.00pm on Thursday December 2.

While last year’s celebrations were limited and online due to covid restrictions, this year’s events will be bigger and better.

Mayor Ray Thompson is looking forward to the event: “It’s been such a long year with limited social activities, so it will be a great opportunity to reconnect with our friends and with the community. Our residents living with a disability are valued members of this town and community”.
