“Home for the Holidays” Family Christmas Concert 2025

Lithgow City Council presents “Home for the Holidays”…. a Family Christmas Concert.

Grab your blanket, the kids and a picnic hamper and settle in under the summer sky amongst the hay bales to enjoy an evening of wholesome live music and festive cheer in the heart of the Seven Valleys. The annual Lithgow Christmas Concert is happening on Saturday 20th December 2025, at the Lithgow Showground. This years theme is ‘Home for the Holidays – A Country Christmas in the Seven Valleys’.

The concert, now in its second year invites the community to join together and celebrate Christmas in the wide-open space of the Lithgow Showground amongst a relaxed, picnic-style atmosphere’. There are great performers, food stalls and fun activities for the kids including last years favourites the farm animals and slippery slide.

This years concert is headlined by award-winning country music star Fanny Lumsden who recently returned from touring Australia, the UK and Europe with Paul Kelly. She will be joined by rising star Denvah, and beloved household name Colin Buchanan, whose hit ‘Aussie Jingle Bells’ is an Australian Christmas classic.

“This event is a wonderful celebration of everything we love about Lithgow – the sense of community, the natural beauty of our region, and the joy of coming together to celebrate” said Mayor Cass Coleman, We’re proud to welcome such incredible talent to Lithgow and invite everyone young and old to join us for a truly special night.”

This event is funded by Lithgow City Council and proudly supported by local sponsors Energy Australia, Greenspot, and McGrath Central Tablelands.

Entry is free, although RSVPs are encouraged to help plan a safe and welcoming event for all.
