Heat Detective Exhibition And Opening Night

Maldhan Ngurr Ngurra Lithgow Transformation Hub warmly invites you to the Opening Night of the Heat Detectives Art Exhibition to celebrate this unique and exciting project.

A group of intrepid ‘Heat Detectives’ using thermal cameras set out to find the hottest spots in Lithgow last summer, and came back with some truly amazing images.

The pictures captured highlighted how different urban surfaces can have a huge impact on local air temperatures, and how liveable our towns are in summer. We’ve curated the best of the best of these images and now it’s time discover which photo was voted as the People’s Choice, for our Heat Detective photo competition!

Also, be among the first hear about our ‘Winter Leaks’ program which will be launching on the very same night!

Entry is free and there will be refreshments available.
