Get connected to the magical world of the Garden as Horticulturalist Marion Whitehead shares fun facts about plants and critters that call the Garden home. Learn about magnificent big trees, flesh-eating plants and amazing secrets of this wonderful Garden.
Discover the secrets behind why plants do what they do, from their ingenious adaptations to their fascinating ways of thriving in diverse environments. Encounter all things creepy crawly as we explore the hidden habitats of insects and spiders, learning about their essential roles in the garden ecosystem. Marvel at towering trees that stand as ancient giants, providing shelter and sustenance to a myriad of life forms. And don’t miss out on uncovering the magic of tiny wonders, from delicate flowers to intricate patterns of leaves, showcasing nature’s exquisite attention to detail. This tour activity is run outside so be prepared for all weather conditions. Remember to pack weather-smart clothing, enclosed shoes, water bottle and your sense of adventure!
