WARRANGU; River Story is the award-winning debut album by Murrawarri-Filipino rapper, composer and producer DOBBY. After a sold-out Sydney Festival season and winning the ARIA for Best World Album, DOBBY now brings this powerful, immersive live performance to regional NSW.
Performed with members of the Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO), WARRANGU is a moving exploration of Country, water, justice and identity—telling the story of the Bogan, Culgoa and Barwon Rivers and the ongoing fight against water theft and ecological damage in the Murray-Darling Basin.
With his signature fusion of hip hop, cultural storytelling and live instrumentation, DOBBY returns to his ancestral homelands with an urgent, unforgettable performance for all generations. Supported by Kelsey Iris, this is a night not to be missed.
