Daffodils At Rydal 2024

Rydal will hold it’s annual ‘Daffodils at Rydal’ festival for 2024 over the consecutive weekends
of 7th and 8th , and 14th and 15th September.
The festival showcases a number of village and outlying gardens, as well as Rydal’s famous
display of daffodils throughout the picturesque and historic village. There will be numerous
market stalls, and a variety of musical entertainment featuring local musicians and bands.
There will be a BBQ, or alternatively, light refreshment available at the Showground dining
room. An ATM will also be available at the Showground.
The successful Art and Sculpture exhibition returns, with works by local artists displayed in
the Showground Hall and throughout Pioneers Park. Works will be for sale, with an opening
night event held on the evening of Friday 6th September. This year the Art and Sculpture
exhibition is proudly sponsored by the Alexander Hotel at Rydal (the Rydal Pub), with a
number of prizes for entries. Entry forms can be obtained online via Facebook or contact Fiona

The event raises money for local charities, with last year $15,000 being shared by the Lithgow
Women’s Crisis Centre, and the Lithgow branch of Legacy.
Entry remains at $10 per person, which provides admission to all the gardens. Ample free
parking is available at the Showground, with a free hop-on hop-off bus to tour the village and
gardens.
