Blessing of the Bikes charity event is coming to NSW for the first time ever and Lithgow Showgrounds is the location for this unique event. Come get your bike Blessed as part of this long tradition that has been happening in Victoria of 7 years and in the USA for decades.
The Blessing of the Bikes is a global tradition where motorcyclists gather to pay their respects to fallen riders and if they choose, be blessed by members of the clergy in the hope that it will bring safety for the coming riding season. Road Safety is a major part of this event with support from local police on the day. Blessing of the Bikes is an Australian Trade Mark event is owned and run by Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation. Motorcycles will begin to arrive to the set location from 9.00am in preparation for a 12.00pm Blessing ceremony.
