Acoustic Sunday at Club Millthorpe 2023

For nearly 15 years we have offered a monthly afternoon of high quality original acoustic music from May to October in the small heritage village of Millthorpe, NSW. These concerts are carefully curated to provide not only a wonderful experience for attendees, but also a respectful, listening space for performers to share their work.

Andy Nelson & Jon Wilby – meet the songwriters (Bathurst / Millthorpe)

Andy & Jon both came to songwriting later in life. They just seemed to pop out fully formed and ready to go.

Andy Nelson writes beautiful stories full of heart and soul. His debut album, ‘Man in the Mountain’, was met with critical acclaim. He has played at many major events and is currently writing songs for his new album. His music is both spacious and lush.

Jon Wilby began writing songs when he retired from his other life. From the sublime to the ridiculous. He tells a great story and gets you thinking. Jon is much in demand as a sideman and can play just about anything with strings.

These two mature, bearded, songwriting gents are not to be missed. We are delighted to welcome them as our first guests for 2023 as we delve into the stories behind the songs.
