Spring Bioblitz Bushwalk

Come along on a social bushwalk to enjoy the wonders of Lithgow’s local bushland in spring. Along the way we will document the plants and wildlife that we see, and contribute to citizen science. We will be walking up to the iconic Bracey Lookout, and getting a taste of the incredible diversity of plants and animals in Hassans Walls Reserve.

Participants will get an introduction to citizen science, and learn how to use the iNaturalist app to document biodiversity.

To meet for the bushwalk: Car – plenty of on-street parking available on Hill, Eskbank and Bridge Street. Train- 10 minute walk from Lithgow Station – walk up Hill St and turn left onto Hill St near the top.

To meet at Bracey Lookout: Car only – a 20 minute drive from the centre of Lithgow. This is a dirt road, with some bumpy bits, but is driveable in a 2WD in fine weather.
