Spring Concert

Who doesn’t look forward to this time of year? Warmer and longer days, an end to hibernation, rebirth of the natural world and hope of a fresh start! As Springtime kicks in, Lithgow City Orchestra is offering a pleasant way to enjoy the season with an afternoon of live music. Their Spring concert will be held on Sunday 21st September providing a musical experience taking you on journey around the world. Music from England, Finland, former Czechoslavakia, Italy, Brazil, Germany, USA and Australia. This free event invites all residents to enjoy an engaging and diverse musical program in a comfortable professional concert hall. Music from the Medieval period, classical composers Dvorak, Sibelius, Mascagni, J S Bach, to the 21st Century with Archie Roach, Pirates of the Caribbean Suite, James Horner, Antonio Pedro, Blues and original music. More than just a free event the Spring Concert is a celebration of community, creativity and shared joy of live performance. Refreshments will be served following the performance offering a chance to meet the musicians and mingle with fellow concert-goers.
