SGARS will be holding a Radio Orienteering “fox hunting” event of the weekend, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April 2025, in Lidsdale State Forest near Wallerawang about 2.5 hours west of Sydney. The aim of the event is for radio operators to team up with members of the Land Rover Owners Club, and head into the forest in 4 wheel drive vehicles to find the hidden radio transmitters. Radio operators can participate in this event on Saturday only, or camp overnight for more fox hunting on Sunday morning. The campsite on Cox’s River is accessible by two wheel drive vehicles.
