If you’re travelling the Castlereagh Highway, Cullen Bullen is the kind of place that invites you to pull over, stretch your legs, and discover the simple charm of the Seven Valleys. With a proud mining past, welcoming locals, and easy access to stunning natural attractions, it’s more than just a stop along the road - it’s a glimpse into the soul of the region.

The town’s Tidy Town Skip Line Rest Area tells the story of its coal mining heritage, featuring a memorial wall, original mining equipment, and interpretive signage. It’s a fitting tribute to the workers who shaped this community and a great spot to pause and reflect.

Adventure seekers are spoiled for choice - Gardens of Stone National Park and Wollemi National Park are just a short drive away, offering 4WD trails, hiking tracks, and dramatic sandstone scenery. Or, for something a little different, feel the roar of engines at the Cullen Bullen Raceway, proudly known as “the action attraction of the Central West.”

Whether you’re here for history, scenery, or a taste of local spirit, Cullen Bullen captures what the Seven Valleys does best - honest, unpolished beauty.
