Established in 2003 and located only minutes away from the centre of Lithgow, Secret Creek Sanctuary has been home to some of the most unique and endangered species of this area. Get up close with Koalas, Eastern Quolls, Dingoes, Tasmanian Devils, Brush-tailed Rock-wallabies, Emus and many more species of Australian fauna and flora. Our self-guided walking track will lead you through natural bushland and secluded gully to see all of the enclosures and top spots where our animals free-range. The main part of the walk is wheel-chair and pram accessible, and equipped with interpretive signage. Our newly built Visitor Centre boasts a large indoor reptile display, as well as a gift shop featuring local and First Nations artists. Our Sanctuary cafe provides a casual family friendly environment and offers a range of nourishing food and drinks, including plant-based options.
