Remember the days when ‘going to the movies’ meant seeing a newsreel, a cartoon, a serial or perhaps a second feature with an intermission followed by the main feature film?

You can relive that experience at the Lithgow Valley Film Society’s cinema at 16 Main Street, Lithgow. The Film Society is a non-commercial, non-profit community organisation run entirely by volunteers with emphasis on providing quality movies for senior members of the community.

Entry to movies is by membership of the Film Society, however visitors may attend once or twice and be registered as temporary members.
