Lithgow Community Nursery

Community Nursery

Lithgow and District Community Nursery is a not-for profit organisation that grows tubestock native plants grown from locally sourced seed.

The Nursery maintains a seedbank of responsibly harvested seeds from the local region for propagation. Tube-stock plants are sold to the public, councils, Local Land Care Services, farms, and bush regeneration (including post-bushfire) programs as well as for roadside and industrial site rehabilitation plantings.

The nursery has a paid manager and is staffed by volunteers.

Opening hours for sales: Monday and Friday 8.30 – 3.30, Saturday 9.00 – 1.00
