Boasting modern Italian cooking with lots of inspiration from the south of Italy, cleverly prepared by our long-standing head chef, Frank Pantano. You’ll experience our brand new cocktail lounge and bar area, offering Peroni tap beer, local and European wines and fun cocktails.
Frankie’s is named after, our Nonno/Dad – Francesco Inzitari. At 20 years old, Frank left his hometown of Arena, Italy in 1951 in search of the Australian dream. He worked extremely hard as a new migrant, whilst supporting his family back in Italy. In 1957 Frank and his brothers moved to Lithgow and opened a fruit shop and wholesale business. He was incredibly hard working and earned the respect from Lithgow’s locals. Frank and his kids then went into a new venture – and bought the Grand Central Hotel in 1980’s. Thus came our family’s introduction into the hospitality industry!
Here we are today, delivering a business dream that he would have been proud of.
