Day 1
Dalli's Campground
Begin your journey in the wide expanse of the Capertee Valley at Dalli’s Campground. Flat, shaded sites sit among wildlife and long views across the valley floor. The campground includes a camp kitchen, hot showers and seasonal access to the orchard. Spend the day exploring nearby National Parks or wandering local walking tracks before returning to camp as the light softens across the valley.

Day 2
Coorongooba campground
Travel on to Glen Davis and settle in at Coorongooba Campground for the night. Shaded sites and basic facilities sit close to the surrounding cliffs, creating a strong sense of enclosure within the valley. Nearby shale oil ruins quietly reflect the area’s past, while the region is recognised for its birdlife, including the endangered Regent Honeyeater. Evenings here are unhurried and still.

The Newnes Hotel Cabins and Camping
Continue into the Wolgan Valley and spend the day and night at the Newnes Hotel Campground. Wide river flats and rock faces frame the campsite, with the steady sound of the Wolgan River shaping the atmosphere. Fireplaces, a simple amenities block, and a covered barbecue area make this a comfortable place to stay and take the day as it comes.

Turon Gates Mountain Retreat
